God's design is that we connect in community so that we can experience fellowship, growth, encouragement, and joy. Our communities also give us the opportunity to serve others, reach out in compassion to the world, and dig into God's Word. Our desire is for believers to have opportunities to connect in authentic communities in our adult, youth and children's ministries. Take a few moments and explore the various ways for you and your family to connect to community here at Zion. Whether you are new or have been visiting Zion we want to get you connected. Here are a few ways you can take your next step.
In addition to our regular Sunday worship service and Sunday School, we offer several ways you can enhance your knowledge of the Bible and a God-centered life:
We are always looking for new volunteers to help guide our youth programs, ZYM and AWANA. Love to sing or play music? Come and join our adult choir or the praise band. Several times a year our choir performs special Cantata Music to celebrate Easter and Christmas. We'd love to have you join us.
We provide meals for shut-ins on the third Wednesday of each month. Our program is known as Meals of Love. We meet in the kitchen at 9:00 AM, prepare the meals: a warm meal for that day, two large meals that can be refrigerated, and a desert. The meals are then delivered to the shut-ins. This program welcomes any and all volunteers. Good food, good social company and a true sense of glorifying our God.
Each month that has 5 Sundays, on the last Sunday of that month we have a Pot Luck lunch immediately following the service. This is always a big favorite.
