Zion Kids

Partnering with parents to make disciples of all generations.

As stated in A Biblical View of Family and Family Ministry, we firmly believe that children are a blessing from God. In keeping with that view, we offer services and programs to our children and older youths that help them take the next steps toward living, sharing, and showing the Gospel in their daily life and in their home.

Worship Services- Our philosophy is simple. We want to provide an environment that encourages families to worship together. That will then provide an environment of grace for young children to learn how to worship God in a respectful manner. In today's environment, our vision is counter cultural. But it is oh so sweet when we see our kids engaging in worship each and every week.

Nursery- Because of the Pandemic, we no longer offer nursery service. We do have a Cry Room where the cargiver can hear the service and a noisy child will not be heard aoutside the room. We hope to be able to open the nursery again sometime in 2022. [Kids learn that God's love is unconditional. Parents are freed up to grow and enjoy the fellowship of other believers. We provide nursery so that all adults can attend Sunday School and the main worship service.]

Sunday School- All ages are impacted by the study and application of the Bible. During the Sunday School hour, the nursery provides a toddler program called Cradle Roll. The kids learn songs and finger plays as they interact with two teachers.

Elementary-High School

Awana:This weekly ministry on Wednesday nights guides and equips children ages 5 through fifth grade to build their lives on the word of God. The children truly learn the gift of service in the name of the Lord. Beginning in Sep of 2020, the upper grade level will be expanded to include the sixth grade. Furthermore, those youth who choose to continue the Awana program through the 12th grade can do so for the first 30 minutes and then they will join their friends in the ZYM ministry.

Zion Youth Ministry (ZYM): Runs in conjunction with our Awana ministry on Wednesday night and includes events and retreats throughout the year.
