Living a Generous Gospel Centered Life
Generous: God gave everything in sending Jesus to conquer sin. In response the believer is freed to be generous with our time, talent, and treasure as we purse kingdom purposes.
Gospel Centered: The Gospel message applies to every area of our lives. “We are saved, sanctified, and sustained by what Jesus did for us on the cross and through the power of his resurrection.” (Chandler) Jesus came to recuse and restore our view of work, relationships, marriage, possession, purpose, and everything in between. Following Jesus is not about rules it’s about loving Jesus and others with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.
(John 3:16, Matthew 22:37-40, Galatians 2:20, I Corinthians 5:17)
Laying a Biblical Foundation
In a culture increasingly moving away from Jesus we desire to guide people to view the world in light of His teaching. Jesus has equipped all believers with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit helps us to have a Christ centered worldview as his power unleashed in our lives through the Bible, prayer, and a responsive heart. (I Timothy 3:16-17, John 15, Acts 2:42, I Thessalonians. 5:17, Jude 1:20)
Life in Community
God created us to live in community with one another and to invite others into our community. You can’t do life alone. We believe that lives are transformed through using our gifts to serve others, unity, transparency, and commitment to one another in love. We believe that community is experienced in corporate worship each week and is built on through Life groups and other small group ministries. (Acts 2:42, I Corinthians 12, Ephesian 4)
Lovingly pursuing those far from Jesus
Every disciple of Jesus is called to be a disciple maker. We desire to reach those far from God by building bridges to the Gospel through personal relationships, serving in our community, and creating an invitational environment in all our ministries. (Luke 15, Matthew 28:20, I Peter 3:16-17)
Leaving a Legacy of Faith
We believe that restoring families is the key to transforming our community. We desire to partner with each home to provide practical tools and a real pathway for Christ-centered relationships, marriages, parenting and grand parenting. We desire to leave a legacy of faith by intentionally connecting every generation as we intentionally celebrate and pass on faith stories from one generation to the next. (Psalm 78, Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 6:20, Ephesians 6)
Linking to Local and Global Gospel Ministries
Our genuine love for people drives us to build bridges for the Gospel to be heard by partnering with ministries and churches to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We desire to be known as people who are generous with our time, talent, and treasure. Our desire is to see healthy churches multiplied locally and globally. (Matthew 6:33, Acts 1:8, I Cor. 5:16-21)
