Youth Ministry Vision

The youth ministry at Zion is a key piece to our vision of training disicples to live, share, and show the Gospel. 

Core Belief:  There are three key elements that have been identified in raising up teens to stay connected with God’s family and live for Christ once they leave home. 

1.  Parents:  The first and most powerful influence is that of a parent.  NOTHING replaces or has more impact than parents who actively disciple their sons and daughters.  Nothing does more harm than leaving the church to be disciple and not living out your faith at home.  Parents are to train your child to be a woman or man of God.

2. Role Models: The second leg is Godly role models.  Our youth pastor and volunteers aim to be this influence.  Honestly, we hope all believe adults in our church impact your kids  as role models.

3. Positive Peer Environment: We hope to create a place for teens not only to grow in their faith, but also to hang out with like-minded teens.  Our youth group is believer focused and lost friendly.  So kids can use it as a bridge to help witness to their friends, but also find a place to be empowered to face the worldly influences in thier lives.
